My thinking is when fuel pump failed it got fuel in the oil. When I tilted the pump fuel came out of the arm side. I think I was supposed to change it at 500 miles for new engine? I never seen clean oil come from a diesel either.
Today I installed a new fuel pump. Old pump looked like it was leaking from where they crimp the bottom onto the body. Never seen that before.
Installed my fording cup that I had for 9 months while I was under there.
changed my fuel filter/separator and it looked really good for 20 years old...
It doesn’t really matter what year it is. Some insurance companies require vehicle to be 20 years old or older. I have a M1165 that has a serial number 225xxx and I chose 2002 for that reason.
My M1123 has a serial number 201xxx and it’s a 2002. They made changes and that was the over under on the vehicles serial numbers. I think above 196,000 is the A2 version but I’m not an expert. Mac has a very limited search but they have stuff for all models. Craig is really helpful when I can’t...
I would try YouTube… I have to watch something be done sometimes. I can do a lot from a diagram but video is nice. I will watch it 2 or 3 times and get busy…
Went into the garage to get you a length on the screw and mine has set in the same spot for a week and now it’s gone! Unbelievable
