Didn’t realize they didn’t have a center bow. Mine doesn’t but figured it was missing. Has the holes so I was going to bend one up out of some 1/4” round stock so water didn’t pool in the middle
Hook your batteries up in series to get your 24vdc. Run a jumper pigtail to your lift pump. Hook your negative to the starter negative lug, then it looks like you can either hook the positive lead to terminal 2 of the starter solenoid and jump the solenoid or finish wiring the solenoid and use a...
Have any rear pics unloaded without the mudflaps in the way? Mine just seems weirdly wide. I’ve been using it to haul logs out for fire wood which I appreciate the wider stance. I have to climb a Levy and turn before I’m completely on top of it. I debated flipping the hubs while it was torn down...
Pressure Brake bleeder built out of a pump up sprayer and you can bleed everything by yourself in minutes. I always do the master cylinder first and work from there.
My deuce has singled out 11.00r20’s, without hub flip deep dish out. Not sure I like the look. Anyone got pics of one with hub flip from the rear? Trying to decide on flipping my hubs, going back to duals or 395’s.
I’ve got the Hewitt 24v ones that look good in the truck to me. Also stole the steering column mount idea. Made a box and used a 1.75” collar clamp tig welded to it. If I get it installed I’ll take a pic. Last set was down by the shifter and was to distracting trying to watch it and drive.
Stitching is going south in a hurry on my top. Would you guys recommend a canvas or vinyl top? Didn’t know they made both till searching for one. I don’t want shiny if the vinyl is actually shiny like the pics. And any recommendations on where to get one? I usually use big Mike’s motor pool but...
If you’re pulling the wheels to check everything I’d go ahead and replace the wheel cylinders and soft lines. Don’t forget plenty of grease of the bearings. After my first 5 ton I pulled everything to flip the hubs and didn’t replace the wheel cylinders. Then they started leaking one at a time...
Exactly, you’re not paying for the part. You’re paying for everything that went into making the part. I do machinist work at work and home but it was worth buying an oil and fuel kit versus trying to pick out filters and fuel lines and fittings.
Trying to get all my to do’s done before it’s too nice outside. Slacked off on my fishing and hunting the last couple years, been building a house. And I’d like to get back to it.
Got Mary out this weekend to start cutting fire wood. She did great getting into where I wouldn’t be able to get my truck without burying it. I built the grapple bucket on the front of the tractor a few years ago. Comes in handy on the tractor and skid steer.
