    14 Bolt oil fill

Do you mean a 3/4" impact. I use my 3/8" impact for watch repairs. LOL

    14 Bolt oil fill

I've filled through the vent tube before in a pinch. I ended up servicing the axle at a later date and welded a bolt to the fill plug and turned it out easy. Those plugs seem pretty soft. The heat of the welding process helps get it out.

    axles

Might want to check with GM72K10 on here. He is going to have some axles soon. I am not sure what he is going to do with them, but I bet they are up for sale.

    Just won a M1010

My other M1010 is a strange color combo. It has tan in the camo pattern. I don't know if it was all sand and then the green and other colors added later. It was a guard truck. Never really ran mine enough to tell and when I did run it the truck was not running properly. The Injector pump...

    Serpentine Belts

On my first MV I thought when this 24v stuff gives me problems I'll just convert to 12v. Then winter came and my civi 12v 6.2's would hardly turn over and the 24v 6.2's cranked about like summertime. Now there have been times when I have considered putting the 24v system in the civi trucks...

    Just won a M1010

Looks good. Sand is starting to grow on me. I have a M1010 in gray primer and I have been holding off on going "green" I think tan would be a whole lot cooler in the summer sun. Thanks for the pics.

So I cleaned the IP valve on the fuel return line...

Not to burst your bubble, but if it was clogged it will probably clog again. Usually the cleaning intervals get more and more frequent.

    m1028a1 upgrade ???

I agree with changing the transfer case, transfer case shift linkage, and drive shafts. The M1028 should already have the same transmission, rear diff, front diff, overload springs in the rear, and a bed. I too have a M1028A1 with the modification tag and a old dodge Contact Maint Vehicle...

    2010 aberdeen BS/for sale/who's going/when and where

I'm not selling, but I can't wait to go buy stuff and look at some nice trucks. I wanted to go back as soon as I left last year. LOL

    M101 A2 to A1

I don't think he is making an A1. He wants to convert an A2 to use the large 5 bolt pattern. The A3 would take some fab work in the fender department. I guess it's whats most avalible north of the border.

    M101 A2 to A1

I am pretty sure it would bolt right up. I have both types so I will have to look. Its funny because I have a couple of trailers I am going to covert from A-1 To A-2.

STA Superlug 9.00x16 tires on my M1008

I would like some tall skinny tires too.

    M105A2 Wheel/ Hub Conversion

Swaping the components from an M101A2 with the newer 8 lug wheel axle would be the easiest way, but the the wheels would be different than your trucks. As far as backing up and dumping you would have to lock out the action of the surge hitch. (Brakes would be applied dumping anyway so really...

    Won One

Good Luck with the trailer. The EUC is not bad at all - just follow the directions to the letter. GL will let you know if there is a problem.

    M105A2 Wheel/ Hub Conversion

I put some Isuzu NPR 17.5" low pro wheels and tires on a M105 trailer. It really lowered it down I am not sure if 16" wheels would clear the drums.

    OEM Fuel Filter Microns??

Wow you answered part of my question before I even asked it.

    OEM Fuel Filter Microns??

skark_burmer I like overkill also. Do you mind sharing filter part numbers and filter base pt. numbers and the source you used ? Thanks

    OEM Fuel Filter Microns??

Does anyone know what micron rating the fuel filters were on the 82 and 83 civilian 6.2 ? I have researched it but never could find an answer. They used a primary and a secondary filter. Thanks in advance.

    Glow Plug issues, round 2.

One other note. If you do change over to AC60G plugs you will have to change the connectors or grind them down. AC60G's have 1/4" tabs on them.

    Glow Plug issues, round 2.

I would go with the AC60G plug. This is the replacement for the OE part. I would just go with a manual push button.
