PTO powered output is rated 12 Kw.
The wisconsin powered welder generator I believe is 4 Kw.
It seems in this part of the country the 4 cyl welder generators are usually missing.
Good luck on your trip. I would like to get together somtime that would be cool. They are easy to work on
once you get an understanding about them. My wife used to work in and drive to Annandale/Boyers area for work
every day. Not too far from Butler.
I am in western PA also. If you end up needing-wanting a spare tire for the 5 bolt M101 or M101A1 I have some extra's. As far as the engine parts for the 6.2 everything on the engine is the same as the "J" code engines in the heavier civilian 3/4 Ton and 1 ton trucks of the same era. The...
My CUCVs have low mileage, but have a civilian K10 that had 260,000 on it before I replaced the engine and trans. The 6.2 leaked quite a bit of oil ( blowby ) but it still got decent fuel mileage. I'm sure the engine would still be running today. but the transmission failed so I had a good...
I don't remove the intake manifold. I just get above the engine and reach up under the intake manifold from the rear of the engine. I usually use a 1/4" socket/ ratchet combo to loosen the clamp and then cut the hose. If you cannot get the clamp off you could always use a crowsfoot tubing...
Brake bleeding procedure is in TM 9-2320-289-20 Pages 400-404 It covers pressure bleeding and manual bleeding. It also shows the combination valve depressor. - aka the button on the valve under the radiator. I will have to fab one of these up. To find this TM go to resources button...
Any idea what would cause this ? I have replaced master cylinders on a few trucks civi and military with the hydroboost setup and have had problems getting pedal. Maybe this is it ?
I didn't know that. I just used a 1/4" socket/ratchet and reached in behind the intake (up under the intake) to remove the fuel inlet hose on the IP. Easier than pulling the intake.
This is exactly right. The right amount of tongue weight when towing a trailer helps keep the rear of the tow vehicle planted. The towbar has nearly zero tongue weight - the vehicle being towed wants to go strait - if the tow vehicle turns the towed tries to push it around. The front of a...
I recently towed in a civilian K-10 (modified with military tie downs on front to attach my military medium towbar for just such an occasion.) with a M1009. I only had 3 miles to tow it and the M1009 was all that was available at the moment. It was like the tail wagging the dog. My friend...
Had a similar thing happen to me. CC company couldn't give a reason for decline. I 100% feel it was something GL entered or did improperly. I was very busy with work at the time and didn't follow up making sure everything was credited properly. So that part was my fault. Long story short GL...
