You might try evaporust. Plug the factory holes, build a dam with maybe modeling clay, then lay a cover over it the evaporust to keep its juices in and O2 and additional moisture out. It’ll clean the metal and allow you a peek into the severity of the corrosion and pitting and go from there on...
Is there a maintenance TM specifically for the front winch? I am needing to disassemble my winch and replace a couple seals but cant find the break down/build up of winch. I found how to remove/install it from the truck, but nothing on the winch specifically.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

How many nuts do you need? Iv got 13rims worth of bead lock nuts, i can mail you some in a flat rate rate box.

Im running in to this issue with my L/FMTV beadlock studs. Erik’s military had the short stud and 1 nut. Luckily, i only need 1 stud and 1 nut, so at least i was able to procure something.
