My local diesel mechanic said most likely you will won't get oil pressure from spinning the engine over. He recommended disconnecting the lines to and from the oil pump and use an alternate pump to prime the system. Check to see if the engine is free by barring it over using the accessory drive...
Sounds to me like the front passenger side glad hand is plugged. That glad hand cover needs to be vented. It should have a small cap that is somewhat loose fitting on that cover to vent air.
The Oliver 2050's (non-turbo) and the 2150's (turbo) used that engine. I have seen some unbelievable power come out of these. Of course it is hard to tell what all is stock.
You may have to disconnect the return line to the tank and plug the tank side. This will pressurize the feed side without pressurizing the return side. The flow of fuel is from the tank to the piston pump, through the filter to the back of the head, through the head to a pressure check valve on...
