I found the original mfg for the LMTV Co-Driver MG Mount, Military Systems Group, https://www.milsysgroup.com/
They don't normally stock them but they still have the drawings, not a problem to make more.
Between Harvey last week and Irma inbound this week, it has me thinking about buying a MEP-803A for use during post hurricane recovery ops until the power grid comes back on in Ft Walton Beach.
Hello,
While checking into the Air Drop procedures to collapse the cab for hauling it, I found an NSN 3940-01-469-9939 for the Sling Set, Multiple Leg, used to remove the Cab Roof. I've only found a sketch of it no photos.
Does somebody have one they can photograph and measure the...
Source has a few door glass but no windshields on hand, they will run more if we meet a min qty TBD. Everything is OEM glass. The door glass have the bracket for the door regulator, $136.16each FOB. I'm waiting on MOQ and price on windshields.
The M1081 can at least lower its overall height by removing the cab top to the bed then folding down the sidepanels and windshield; stowing the spare tire in bed then folding the spare tire handler; and removing the air intake stack.
I've got a couple bids around $1500 on uship.

Yeah, I know, quite a ways to haul it but no way I can drive it that far.
Hauling M1081 LVAD "Animal Muthah" From Brownsville PA 15417 to Ft Walton Beach FL 32547.
Good news is, the cab can knock down for lower height, less drag.
At least this trip avoids I95.
Steve Smith in Arkansas steveleesmith@hotmail.com should be able to set you up with the circuit board and solenoids to gas up that Pig if it is the U channel sheetmetal dummy receiver not the solid aluminum ones.
That's how I used to run my M577 and M125/M106 mortar tracks, used to plug the ol' Sony Walkman into the Line sockets to listen to Guns n Roses on log roadmarches, the music would cut out if you had to trans over FM with the CVC helmet boom mikes.
btw: put me down for next run no rush.

Update: Survey says-----Its the Part 5 Housing, Mechanical 7E6366 that is kaput..aua...
Yes sir, new or reclaimed cover. Problem is finding one. I have to look to find the Part# maybe find a CAT part #1067920 somewhere, we have a truck salvage down the road.
By chance I happen to call a friend I haven't seen in a few months, turns out he knew exactly what the War Pig is, his...
