    new injectors and fdc bypassed

I'd be very careful. E.G. Temps go up quick. I would drive it very little until you get those gauges.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The gauges are slotted to let light in. I didn't want to put the lights too close, actually I tried and all I got were bright light and I couldn't see the gauge face. Also the dash lights have 2 settings. And the residual light on the floor doesn't bother me.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

This is the light I used. It's 47 inches long and has a protective cover over it. I removed the cover and split the lights at the solder connections that gave me three light strips each with 3 LED's on 2 of the strips, I had to solder new wires to make the connection. One hot and one ground.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Alright , I had a chance to snap a few photos. The first is taken from the floor looking up into the dashboard. The LED strip is mounted on the top of the dashboard facing down. It's mounted with some industrial double sided tape. The second pic is at the bottom of the dashboard facing rearward...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I used 24 volt LED strips and wired them into the existing dash lights. I'll post some under dash pics when I get home from work. The strips were repurposed store display lighting.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Did a couple cool things this week, I added dashboard lights because I couldn't see the original lights in the dark. The pic makes it look like they're too bright. But driving in the dark, I can see all the gauges perfectly and still not have any residual glare. And I had to do a furniture...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got my cover turned around the correct way. Now it makes sense that the zippers go on the inside. I must've dropped my brain in the mud somewhere a few miles back. Just waiting on the super rope from the parts place.

    '64 REO M35a2 clean-up/restore.....

Good job finding that truck at a really nice price! First thing I would do is pull your wheels off and check out the brakes. The first day I drove my truck, I locked the brakes up on pavement trying to avoid an oncoming car. The brakes worked fine , but when I removed the front drums, both...
