Do not run the engine anymore until you get the fuel in oil issue fixed. Fuel density compensator and hydraulic head o-rings are the most common causes of this.
Yeah, I would feel much better not knowing the information in question, while at the same time not having to worry about bureaucrats and politicians thinking they need to make new laws pertaining to my vehicles and their use.
Don't make it a 4 door, way too much work, and way easy to ruin it. You can extend the cab by 3-4 inches pretty easily, and still retain the full length deuce bed.

When there is no gasket at all, the stuff that comes in a can with the little cotton ball brush is better. It sets up more like a gasket by itself than the spray. The spray is great for coating existing gaskets.
You know Jake, that is an interesting idea. I forgot about that entirely. Seems plausible. And it would explain why some reman engines have a lot of blowby from the slobber tube, and some have almost none. If they weren't properly observed and replaced with properly sized liners during rebuild

If I had been able to paint the whole thing, the details would have been a lot better. I'm sorry about the overspray on your brake lines and I'm sure some other things that you didn't want painted. You should be able to remove it from the brake lines with WD-40 on a rag.

The reason for needing a new cover gasket, is because when I put it together I sealed this gasket with copper gasket sealant. I meant for it not to leak or be removed for a very long time. I'm sure that if I remove it the gasket will peel or tear.
