You can try that. Fill it with water before you pressurize it so you can see if it leaks. The fact that it got worse tells us the issue is right there somewhere.
You can get the Parker pumps off of Ebay. They are red, and cost around $50-$75.
No, it is rated for 35 gallons per hour. Our trucks need 65 +... put a good lift pump back in and you will see a difference.
Also, grab the hose and see if you can rotate it on the hose barb that goes up and out of the tank. If that clamp gets loose it can suck air there. That his bar is also...
You won't find Quarpel for sale anywhere. It was classified as hazmat. Well, you may find some somewhere, long forgotten in the back of some old surplus or other building. It wasn't supposed to be sold to the public though.
That's one problem for sure. Get rid of that pump. That tiny little pump is more of a restriction than anything. It WILL NOT supply enough fuel to run your truck properly. You are going to have to find a Parker pump to put back in there.
I know an easy way to get the rings to seat without actually running the engine. Works with some engines that have run hot too.
Pull the injectors all out, get a quart of dex/ merc ATF and some gasoline or mineral spirits in a small squirter bottle. Squirter some ATF and a little bit of the...
You can spray them down with degreaser and then wash them off, or spray them down with brake cleaner, but the canvas will decay much more quickly afterwards. The tents probably weren't brand new, and had a lot more airspace around and inside them to dissipate the scent. You'll get used to it...

Is the vent cap on the air pack vent line free and clear of obstruction, and not crimped or mashed anywhere? It should be the one that comes up the firewall right by the breather box.
No there isnt. I don't have a Gopro, and it was at night anyway. I dare not try to video it with my phone and drive at the same time, at least not at that speed.
If the cover does not appear to be bent, you should carefully inspect the bellhousing for cracks. There has to be a reason that it started making contact.
Ok, you know every time it sucks air and stumbles or dies, it is potentially causing injector pump damage right? Air and water kills injector pumps. I would advise draining or siphoning off the fuel and fixing the problem now that you know where it is. All you need is some buckets or fuel cans...
Get under the truck and rap on the skidplate with a budd wrench or hammer, and tap on the air cylinder. Then bleed it at the air pack bleeder and remove the 1/8" plug at the rear of the air cylinder and apply pedal to blow it out. If you get just air, add some air tool oil and cycle the brakes a...
