10-4 toby, these wheel cylinders have sat on a shelf for quite some time. The boots are dry and stiff, so I had planned to disassemble them and re build them using the NAPA 45 wheel cylinder kit, and the Wagner body and pistons.
Thanks tobyS. I have a couple of these Wagner Lockheed wheel cylinders that I picked up recently. The boxes are old and yellow and the dust boots are stiff, but the metal is rust free. I planned on rebuilding them with the NAPA 45 kit, but the number FD3087 didn't match the number 4419 on the...
Yes, I remember Japanese transistor radios back in the 60s. Sometimes they didn't work when new out of the box, and if they did work you only got 2 or 3 stations.
Millmarsh. You might PM CARNAC. I think you'll need your identification number & contract number these should be on the data plate on the right side of your dash. Also you should have a number on the chassis behind the left front tire. It's stamped into the metal, you may have to scrape some...
sgms18. Please let us know how your wheel cylinders look when they arrive, and country of origin. I hope the hoses you ordered aren't made in china. Thx.
I ordered a new 4419 wheel cylinder several days ago, and when it arrived I was surprised to see made in china on the box. Toby, I also liked the way the part looked on the NAPA website, gloss black with made in USA. The first picture is how the wheel cylinder looks out of the box, no black...

Welcome aboard from Nevada. Bisdale, the TMs will take you step by step through the re build process. Also if your going to have the transmission out, check your clutch pressure plate, clutch disk, throw out bearing etc., while you've got it apart. SS member BigMike may have a take out...
Alan, are you going to be able to make it to Tower Park in September??? Ya gotta make it!!! You and Randy do the best Tri-Tip North of Santa Maria. Plus I need 2 new 9X20 tires.
In the process of replacing the transmission companion flange and seals. I've had a small leak on the output shaft end of the transmission for the last year, so now is the time to fix it.
If your truck is running a multi-fuel, your truck is an M52A2. The M52A1 uses an Mack engine. Also welcome aboard from Nevada USA. Would like to see some pictures of your truck.
Mike, I may have a member coming over Donner Pass with me, so 4 or 5 trucks in a convoy would be cool. I don't know if speedfellon (Alan) is going to make it this year. Dane, this is also our small Fall Meet about 150 spaces. In April we have our Spring Meet, and it's double the size. We'll fill...
Sorry Kevin that I can't be of more help. Mine came from the Army with metal push plugs in the holes. Kevin also check your gauges to make sure they're really bad, and if you have to replace them, stay away from the Chinese knock offs. The GI gauges should have the manufacturer name, Faria Corp...
