I just logged on for the first time in a couple weeks to confirm my EUC is still pending . My auction is gone. No EUC pending, no items won, no invoices, etc. It's like my account was wiped out, but I'm logged in. Anyone else seeing issues? Maybe an IT update/failure? I guess I'll call on...
Thanks, that would be a bonus. Who would I reach out to to get that refund? I assume it ca government, not gov planet. I think paying ca taxes keeps me from having to pay sales tax in Texas, so maybe not a huge savings if I still need to pay Texas.
I was able to talk to someone at gov planet who was pretty helpful. She was able to confirm receipt by DLA. She also said EUC's have been taking about 50 business days lately which would put mine around early/mid december. I'm hoping I might have the truck before the end of the year, but not...
I bought a decent looking 2 man a little over a month ago for just under 10k, but even the basic 2 man trucks look like they are shooting up. Here are a couple that sold yesterday for 16k and 19k, just basic trucks. Pretty clean, but they still have some obvious issues plus the unknowns...
It looks like this thread was moved out of the general HMMWV section into the hot rodding section. Why is asking about the parts for turning a 2 man hmmwv into a 4 man truck considered "hot rodding and modification"?
My very intent on asking about the parts required is to make sure I'm...
Thanks. Any specific point of contact? I did a quick web search and this (below) is what I found for DLA Battle Creek.

Thanks. I assume you mean calling GP? I was hoping there might be a way to confirm receipt and progress at dla. I know a guy who was in usmc logistics and thought about asking whether he has any connections there. I’m not in a huge rush, but it sounds like this is the kind of thing that...
After a 2nd call to Gov Planet last Friday asking why my EUC wasn't sent to TSC yet, the status changed on Sunday to "submitted to TSC". So, I think that's good progress, but I'd like to confirm that DLA/TSC actually has received it. As much as I want to trust GP, I've read too many posts...
Even if there were situations where a vacuum on the vent lines happened, would it do any harm? I guess if it was strong enough, you could pull some air or water through seals (theoretically), but that would need to be some serious suckage.
Do any of the vent lines enter below fluid levels...
Resist the urge.... For me, a big part of the cool factor of these vehicles is the raw simplicity. No stereo is going to sound worth a crap in noisey hmmwv anyway. I plan to stick in my airpods for tunes and I'll get the diesel/road noise supression along with it without butchering the truck...
Old trick for noisy belts - hold a bar of soap against the drive side of the belt while it’s running for a few seconds. It will usually stop the squealing.
Here is another kit that looks different with black belts and some different brackets. Not sure which one is correct.

I won an auction for a basic 2 man m1123 last week and I'm starting to research and buy stuff I need to convert it to a 4 man (while wating on EUC, etc.).
I already purchased a 4 man top/door kit and I'm trying to confirm what else I need.
It looks like I need the following kit for rear...
I ended up buying the NOS kit. It was pricey, but looks to be in really good shape with all the original packaging and no signs of water/crush damage to the the orignal box.
Here's a screen shot that includes contact info for the new company. Not from me, but posted by another member. Looks like 150 days out and I'm always leary of that when you are talking about starting up new production. I'm guessing that is their target date, but who knows what issues they...
Thanks for the guidance. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the GMA kit. It's all sealed in the plastic bags with the sheets on the windows and the box doesn't have any water damage or anything. Kind of stupid $, but it's done.
Thanks and congrats on the 1165. Unless you are flipping these things as a business, the purchase price isn't that relevent in the grand scheme of things if you get what you want. This is my first hmvee and I figured it's a good starter and I can always upgrade later if I really dig it. Good...
