Thanks. I also found a kit with just the hose and plugs without the little clamps.

Thanks. Yeah, I've got some tools. I'll check out the fuel filter when I change it for sure and go from there. It's a CA truck, filled with moon dust. The gasket for the tank is pretty cheap, so I might just crack it open to take a look (assume that little panel in the bed provides access?)...
I've been waiting on my EUC since september, but finally have my M1123 home today. The condition exceeded expectations so far. 32 miles on the odometer and I'm thinking that's correct, there is no wear on anyting (other then age/sun deterioration. This is my first time even driving a HMMWV...
Another good review on United States of Freight. Nick was extremely responsive on the quote and throughout the shipping process. Maybe a new time record for long distance delivery? My EUC cleared less than 48 hours ago. My m1123 was sitting in my driveway by 1pm today, about 1,400 miles from...
Thanks for all the feedback. I went with 2000. It's a nice round number and it sounds like I'm within a year of original manufacture date one way or the other. I still don't understand the serial number lookup stuff, but close enough.
I understand that there are no date plate remaining, just wondering what the rationale is for going so old. It sounds like some places base the registration fees off age of vehicle, so I guess that could make sense in those places (no in my location). The insurance thing is also a...
Why go so old if it's known to be much newer? From what I understand, there isn't really an official model year on these, but I feel like it should be a defendable year if it were ever questioned. Off by a year in either direction seems reasonable. Intentionally misrepresenting it as 8-10...
Thanks, that's where I was leaning. It still won't be old enough for classic status, but a lot closer than if I used 2009. I'm a little confused trying to figure out what year it was made. From the sticky post on serial numbers, I see some overlap that doesn't make sense for 1999 and 2000...
I just got my EUC released yesterday and the truck is on it's way. I need to fill out the SF97 request form and that includes putting in a model year for the truck. It's an M1123 wtih original serial number 192892. It went through IROAN refurb in 2009 and you can see the data plate below...
My bad, I was just being lazy with typing. It's the United States of Freight. It's pretty much a done deal, just wanting on Nick to send the paperwork. They are picking up the truck tomrorrow and will be here Thursday or Friday. Which would be awesome.
EUC finally cleared on the m1123 that I won back in September. Looks like the TSC folks really getting caught up, it's only been 5 months!
It's in Yermo and I'm in central TX near Austin.
Any recommendations for shippers?
I got a bid from Veritread when I bought it for $1900, which seems...
They probably noticed how much the prices increased late last year and figure they could make more $ by putting them back out for auction. I assume gov planet doesn’t pay for storage, so its to their benefit to push things out as long as prices keep going up.
I received a similar update. Sent my euc in sept 17, they submitted to tsc on 26th, then recently told me it was rejected and resubmitted on oct 5th. I asked why and they couldn’t give me a reason it was rejected, but what’s another 2 weeks in the grand scheme of things. I figure at least...
I also got a little Covid instead of my euc for Xmas. Not sure if omnicron or not, but it was a nonevent for me. Felt bad for maybe 8 hours and then had a little sniffle for a couple days. I think I was exposed the day after getting my booster and flu shot, so my immune system was pretty...
Thanks, I'm an idiot. Or their website should be clearer. Probably a little bit of both, but I'm leaning toward me just being dumb. The "all items" thing was even posted previously and I looked, but I was looking for a search criteria or something.
Anyway, it's all good and I can see my...
