    I "HATE" John Deere!!!!

Yup, most kids today have no clue unless the computer spoon-feeds it to them. That's why I've sought out & found a few places around town where they have live human beings who aren't afraid to break out a printed catalog, in the rare instance they don't have the part & location memorized (which...

Dual Tank Fuel Gauges Not Working

First thing I did on my M931A2 was to remove the ground leads (both ends) and clean everything down to bare metal...most likely you'll find a lot of rust/corrosion/gunk in there. Check both ends of the ground wires as well; I had to replace one as the insulation had cracked near the connector &...

    ctis hose

I just replaced all 4 hoses on my rear CTIS (M931A2). My local Parker outlet had exact replacement hose in stock, not too expensive: Parker 293-6 Airbrake Hose Braided 8mm (5/16") SAE J1402 500psi Have fun cutting it, it has a thin metal braided layer underneath the outer braided...

    Paramount water truck

I replaced all 12 of mine with the rubber ball joints, and WOW what a difference! I've since taken my Deuce off-road on some washed-out, rocky desert trails, and the articulation has to be felt to be believed...not to mention it didn't have near the jolt while rock-crawling like my 4x4 trucks...

    Paramount water truck

Interesting nonetheless...if the price is right, it might be worth jumping on. Plus you could sell the water tank & accessories if you chose, you'd probably cover most of the cost of the overall truck purchase that way, and have some cash to get tires, cargo bed, etc...

    Paramount water truck

Looks like a 5-ton converted to civvy use with the new windshields, fiberglass top & flip hood, etc... I've seen a few around the the southwest like this. Interesting, the first photo appears to be a 5-ton, but the photos clearly show a Deuce dataplate. And if you look closely you can see the...

Has Iraqi Hezbollah Acquired an American M1A1 tank?

"Monkey Model" export versions; don't have the proprietary armor package nor fire control systems as ours do.

    LDT-465-1C Spin on filter Kit.

I'll second that! I installed one over two years ago & changed filters recently...it was a SNAP! I'm getting ready to order another one or two... Well worth it!

    Deuce disc brake

At the recent monster truck show here, it took only seconds for those pinion brakes on the trucks to glow orange from heat & actually throw sparks! It was immediately obvious why these are not suitable for on-highway use.

Oil seal mod. for 3053 input shaft

I'll take one at $300, but if price drops to around $225 I can justify TWO. Thanks Garrett!

MonsterJam World Finals XVI & So. NV Military Vehicle Association

LOL, on here one would hope so! :) The Soldier Fortune crew & owners wanted to salute all current-serving & former members of the Armed Forces...at each event they would like to honor all of these folks, so we made sure to pass along MVPA Chapter contact information to them, for future events...

MonsterJam World Finals XVI & So. NV Military Vehicle Association

The Southern Nevada Military Vehicle Association (SNMVA.com) was contacted almost at the last minute & asked to provide some military vehicles for the Pit Party display at the recent MonsterJam World Finals XVI (Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas, NV; March 25-28, 2015). 108 monster trucks and their...

    Dana 60 for front end

94-present Dodge 4x4s used coil springs & control arms instead of leaf springs; if you have fabrication skills or know someone who does, this would be a welcome upgrade from leaf springs (somewhere around 2005-ish Dodge switched from Dana to AAM axles, and the driver's side axle tubes are known...

Need help m35a2 with no fuel to injectors

It was at least 2 years ago when I purchased them; the numbers were from another thread on here. I remember that it was pretty easy to find & order them, and the shipping was more than the purchase price (I bought 10 or 12 at the time). I'll have to go through my thread subscriptions to find...

Need help m35a2 with no fuel to injectors

THIS makes a world of difference!! I recently purchased new buttons from AMBAC, they arrived 2 days after ordering. Might as well change out the O-rings while you're in there.

    New deuce project

To bar the engine over to watch the valve lifters (and/or to adjust the valves), I usually drain off about 2 gallons of coolant from the radiator petcock drain, disconnect the upper radiator hose & the radiator upper mount, loosen the lower radiator nuts, then push the radiator forward as far as...
