In order to illuminate the head lights I cut holes in the buckets and the back of the headlights and inserted a standard outdoor light socket with bulb. Wired it all to out door use cable and installed a photos cell sensor in the line. The photo cell turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn...
Got the front cross member out today. The existing holes in my "new" multi fuel front member don't exactly line up with the existing holes. Did you guy s have to make any mods for the cross member to bolt in other than enlarging the holes?
Back in the summer I put this flagpole and mutt display in my yard. The vehicle itself is an early plain M151. I deemed it not economically restorable and thought this was a good use for it . I finally got around to wiring the head lights on the MUTT this week so they come on at dusk. All...

Can someone chime in here. This may be a dumb question but is...
For me it's not always about the money. I am currently knee deep in the refurbishment of a m108. When done it will be a somewhat unique vehicle that has many uses. Mine ran ok before starting disassembly so l know at least in the collector world the m108 has many advantages over the larger...
A few more. Yes it's still 24 volt. I have another guy who said he wanted the motor a few months back when he heard about my swap, If that falls through it will be available .
