In the process of tracing an intermittent problem with the head lights. At times, hi and lo beams work, other times only the low beam. I replaced a very crusty-looking dimmer switch that at times would stick. still have the problem.
I have the TM 9-2320-361-20 showing how to check the...
I replaced all the belts and hoses on my deuce, flushed the cooling system, and am installing a coolant filter. My question is this: Should I install the fan first, then the radiator, or set the radiator in the 2 holes on the bottom plate, tllt the radiator forward, and install the fan...
go to the classified section and look under "Tools" Comdiver sells them for $60.00 a set. Believe me, they are worth double that! Good guy to work with.
Thanks littlebob and hoop. I soaked the bolts, pulley nut and threads with PB Blaster and using the compressor pulley wrenches, the pulley came apart, no problem. The cost of the compressor wrenches are worth double the price!! :driver:
I am replacing all the belts and hoses on my deuce. In looking over TM 2320-209-20-3-2, page 13-252 the instructions refer to loosening the crankshat nut with a 1 1/8' socket, and then using a compressor pulley tool, (I have the 2 special wrenches) loosen the the outer pulley. My questions are...

sedohr,
The previous owner used house paint to paint the deuce, and it was a VERY poor job. He proably used a heavy-bristled brush or perhaps a wallpaper paste brush. There were heavy brush marks all over the truck in 3 color camo. I used a wire cup brush on my angle grinder to get them all...
You did a great job...... I used 50 cans of Krylon for the whole truck. Previous owner used a broom and house paint. I had to remove a great deal and I needed 2/3 coats in some places. I also did the inside of the cab.
Welcome from Longwood. This is a great site. I lurked here for a while reading all the great posts and tips, then bought my M35A2. I have purchased several parts from other members on the site, most notably a real nice M105 trailer. Nice to have you aboard. :-P
Deuce door locks
I bought two garage door locking handles from Ace Hwde. They look almost identical to the originals. They have a square shaft just like the ones on the deuce.
1. You have to cut 3/16" off the end of the Ace shaft or the handle will not go in all the way.
2. The plate on the...
