I am sure it is possible because the Wrecker and the Dump versions have the PTO. They use the PTO to drive a hydraulic pump. I think I have even seen the PTO kit for sale somewhere.
Hi DirtyDirk,
There is a sticky that has the list for down loading the spreadsheet of part numbers.
If you want the complete list, then send me your email by IM and I can email the list to you.

I drove mine off the lot and I just got a trip permit from California. It was good for me to drive to Utah. CA DMV did not need to see the truck, or do any inspection, and I did not need to show insurance. Seemed strange to me but they just asked for $22 and then they gave me a blank trip...
Dang! I am not sure that is good news. I think the ECMs are a pricey part. I heard that some guys on here bought non-runners for parts trucks. You could reach out to them so see if their ECM is good and see what their price is.
simp5782, I found the packing list for the semi annual kit. Man, they hide it very well but I found it. Some of the items are kits themselves but I don't think the other kits have packing lists.
I seem to remember something about the sensors used to detect the crankshaft speed. I think I remember that on the C12 engine, it is common to have the RPM sensors go bad. There are two of them as I recall and if either of them goes bad, then the engine will not start. Sorry I did not mention...
So I bought some LED bulbs and I am putting them into the tail lights to see if they will work. I was a little bit worried that when I changed the bulb the truck would throw a code saying that a bulb was burned out. But it did not. So here are the photos of the LED bulbs I got from Amazon along...
I am getting ready to install a 24 volt to 110 volt inverter in my truck and I want to put it in the cab to keep it out of the weather. So I was looking for a way to get 100 amps into the cab and I think I found it. The nice thing is that it was there already and it is easy to tap into. There...
When I was cleaning mine out, I saw my rag had the black dust that means metal fillings are in the oil. So today I put three magnets on a string and dropped the magnets into the power steering reservoir. I will pull them out after a while and see what metal things are in the oil. BTW, for the...
And just to give more information, I used the 16 inch wipers that you can buy anywhere. The military ones were 16 inches so it should be an exact replacement.
Thank you Navy dude!
I enjoy working on the truck, well sometimes I enjoy it, and I want to help others so I post what I have learned.
I will give a shout out to Elijah95 and Madams for the postings that they have done that have helped me figure things out. And it is inspiring to be a part of...
Well, the heating pad I put on the fuel tank did not stick to the CARC. It was peeling off. So I pulled it off and then ground off the CARC and cleaned the bare aluminum really well. I then put the heating pad back on and used the red silicone to seal it. Now I need to wait a few days again...
I agree with MAdams, check the fuses/circuit breakers. My truck was doing some strange things until I pushed the little reset button on every circuit breaker. It was so hard for me to see if one was tripped so I just reset them all. Some were tripped.
Also, under the hood, on the firewall, near...
My business partner's wife wanted to drive the 7 Ton and so I let her take it for a spin when she was in town. BUT we did not wait for the warm up time and the tranny was cold. The outside temperature was below freezing. She drove about 50 feet, then she wanted to back up so pushed reverse, and...
Here is what I think. I think the repair manual for these trucks is not a PDF. I think it is software. It should include things like Cat Electronic Technician (ET) and other software for flashing the ROM and working with other parts of the truck. So there may be a PDF but that is a small part of...
When I got my truck, the windshield wipers were completely falling apart and even scratching the glass. I didn't have time to order the military ones and i was driving through rain so I ended up grabbing some standard civilian wipers and got it to work. As a work around, I actually duct taped...
I got my semi annual kits from GP a long time ago. I was thinking of buying a truck at that time and when I saw the kits come up I quick bought them. Then I just kept them in storage. I am not sure if there is a packing list with the kits. I should check. If I find a packing list I will post it.
So I found out the hard way you do not want to drive the truck before it warms up. My business partner's wife wanted to drive the 7 Ton and so I let her take it for a spin when she was in town. BUT we did not wait for the warm up time and the tranny was cold. She drove about 50 feet, wanted to...
MAdams,
It turns out I have the same problem. It was fairly warm so I took your advice and went to change the fluid in my power steering. Using a transfer pump, I pumped the oil out of the reservoir and then I saw that my filter was missing the washer and so the filter was just loose and not...
