Well, on my truck its about 65 inches but my truck was sinking in the mud a little bit so it might be a little bit higher. I took the 4 photos in each of the corners of the deck.
GP used to have many MTVRs for sale but now there is just one. I wonder if they stopping selling them until the government gets caught up with EUCs and SF-97s.
I finished my roof rack/LED light bar frame. Now I need to mount and wire the LED lights. I am also going to add a flat plate of steel for antennas. I have my Ham license and I want to put a few other antennas there too.
It is going to take me awhile to get the rest done because it is really...
I have done a lot of research on this and although the laws vary from state to state, there are Federal laws that say anything over 26,000 GVWR a CDL is required. So if you comply with your state laws but then drive across a state border, it is possible that you could be pulled over by a HP...
I put on some Angle Iron so I can mount some LED lights because the headlights are worthless. I do not want to drill any new holes in my truck because I want it to remain as "original" as possible. So I used the holes for the weapons kit to bolt my Angle Iron on. I plan to put some additional...
Efituned,
I wonder if the microprocessor is really not available. I know many places to get old outdated parts and my brother is an electrical engineer at Texas Instruments. Well, he was until he retired. I bet we could find the part.
It may be an issue of not being able to replace the...

So I was looking through photos of Marines and their 7 Tons (my favorite thing to do) and I noticed in one photo how their secure the cab of their trucks. They just use a chain and a lock. The chain should be over 28 inches long.
I recommend a lock instead of the twig I used. I would not...
A little bit off topic but what happened to all the other non runners that I assume were purchased as parts trucks? Someone should have a non runner that they could sell the parts off of.
I watched MAdams's video about changing the axle hub oil and I saw he had water in his. I got worried so I thought I had better change my hub oil too. I really just wanted to see what was in there. Not water I hope!
Well, the good news is no water. The bad news is that all 6 hubs had some...
So I was playing around with the bolt for the cargo bed seats and I found out the correct size for the seat to bed side is 3/8 of an inch. I bought a few pins with the retainer and so now I can take the seats off without tools. Of course, if you need room in the bed, you can fold up the seats to...
OK, I found all the bulbs now. So my truck has all LED bulbs front and rear. I used Red LEDs for the rear (brakes and turn signals) and White ones for the front (turn signals).
On Amazon the bulbs are:
iBrightstar Newest 9-30V Extremely Bright 1156 1141 1003 BA15S LED Bulbs replacement for Rv...
I would love to put on door locks but I have not found anything that will work.
I secure mine from driving away by putting a lock on the battery switch. Here is the thread:
Lock for the battery switch
