Someone posted a letter from one of the tire manufacturers (think it was Michelin) stating that the max speed ratings were at full-load, and articulated that it's okay to run over max speed when unloaded.
Figure the chain fall is rated for 500lbs, so the davit crane is probably similar. Think 800-900lbs might be pushing it a little too far... will just use the A-frame hoist.
What's the real-world capacity of these? Much more than 500lbs? 800-900lbs too much? Have to move a 6.2L engine tomorrow, wondering if I need to set-up the A-frame hoist.

Pulled the first two up and into position by myself, with a come-along. Couple of really nice guys helped me push the second two trailers onto the trailer. Just bought that car trailer and haven't had a chance to install a winch yet. Was really not too bad though, even by myself.

Picked up four trailers today. They all fit on a 20ft trailer with a couple feet to spare. 116's pack tighter tongue-up than tongue-down. Plan on about 5ft between...
We've gotta go pick up four trailers and bring them up to the bay area too. Going to make two trips, double-stacking. Maybe we can coordinate and help each other load? Was planning on going down sometime next week. You?
Airing down an A2 to emergency takes the air pressure to what, 15-20lbs? Was not enough to get up any of the sand hills out in Johnson Valley. Not even close. No weight in the bed though.
