Removed the starter today and found out why it was sticking. The solenoid plunger is rusted. Also the bell housing had about a quart of water inside. Got to love the Pacific Northwest... Moss and rust for everyone.
SO the question is do I just replace the solenoid or find another stater?
If you didn't know pressing control f at the same time on a PDF is a search. It will drop down a search box on the upper right corner. I use this all of the time

I greased the rod with some grease and use a strong magnet to move the rod up. It is best to remove the plate though. I still use grease to hold the rod.
