I also did the coat hanger repair and it's still holding over a year later. I'd have to look hard to remember which one it is by now. You could try this, using one of the other ones from the back seat or somewhere as a pattern and see how it goes.

The 1-2 minute cycling is normal startup procedure. If it happens when the engine is hot, or lasts longer than 2m, only then is there an issue.
Most refer to this as Afterglow

Glad to hear you're back in the saddle...
Issue 1: Sounds like the lighting control panel/switch is malfunctioning. Not an unusual problem, as there are a lot of contacts in there. Many have disassembled and cleaned them with good results. I would recommend you try. Do take care when taking...
On my 998 the sending unit is on the rear of the engine just inside the doghouse.
Sounds like you're on the right path in terms of the maintenance you're doing. The repairs you describe, which might just turn out to be open / inspect are within the ability of a decent shadetree mechanic...
Amazon or other sources have 24-12 converters. I bought one from the brand called Pyle. They are not expensive and will save you from imbalancing your batteries.

Do the entire lube order if you can. It could have been a decade since some of those fittings or systems saw fresh lube.
A new sending unit is a good idea. A cheap autometer gauge from the auto parts store will bring immediate piece of mind or tell you to stop driving at once. I did this same...
Stick with it. Yes there is one bolt that is extremely hard to see. Obviously you have to loosen that one too. A breaker bar once everything is loose is handy for pushing them to their maximum slack position. You'll get there!

Will be interested to hear your results with the beadlocks and BBs. I don't ever expect to need run-flats, though I feel having them alleviates me needing to carry a spare (which I don't have, unless you count my M116A3 and I happen to be towing it at the time I get a flat!). I've thought...
Sorry to hear of your unfortunate treatment from the DOT people in Pennsylvania. Different states have different rules, and different ways of enforcing laws and raising revenue.
But, as I understand State-to-State dealings... You don't have to pay the ticket in Pennsylvania. You just can't...
Start simple: check all battery and generator connections first. Take apart, clean and refit, if you have the time to be that thorough. Just tighten them all, if not. Be sure to check the battery connections on the back of the battery box by the starter, not just the ones inside.
All that...

Word from Rob about the event and registration: “You don’t need to register. Your ticket is your MV – just pull in and we’ll find you a spot! ”

I didn’t see any registration requirements. Pretty sure we can just show up.
I’ll ask Rob White, as he’s been to it before. Assume No, unless I report otherwise.
My son wants to go so I suspect we will attend then. It’s 1.5 hours drive but it’s not every day one gets to see a T34 tank being...

Some auto parts stores will test an alternator for you. Yes, it's a heavy beast to pull out, but I agree with those who point at the alternator as the culprit. Maybe it just needs adjusted (I cannot find online references to whether the Delco 21SI you've got has an adjustable regulator, the...
