    Lmc junk

I have had good success with these people: https://www.classicparts.com/1973-1987-Truck-Parts/departments/8/ Some of the parts were in OEM boxes and others were aftermarket parts.

Interesting glow plug controller card failure.

I don't recall what the current is for the GP relay closure is. I agree with not adding a relay to control a relay, more failure points. I do remember that during the initial GPD design we beefed up the transistor that closes the relay. Seems that the original ones were on the lower end of the...

    Lovely oil leak

I had the right side valve cover leaking on my M1008. It was leaking toward the lower rear corner. Never knew that it was leaking until I pulled the engine and found the oil was going down the inside of the frame.

    Pictures from the past

A good friend of mine shared these pictures with me the other day. "175 Mules from AZ and CA, 9 trailer parts 3-10-96" Is written on the back of one of them. No other info is available, and yes they are all long gone. There may be more pictures yet to be discovered.

    Nothing Lasts Forever——Doghead Starter Relay

Your trouble shooting skills and your understanding on how the relay works in the start sequence got you back home. Being able to get the truck started with a screw driver shows that you understand how a 30+ year old truck works. I agree with Doghead, Failing in the safe mode kept a bad...

What did you do to your trailer today.

I don't see any steps for helping the people that are getting older now to get in and out of the back.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

That's is exactly what happened. It all started with " I'll just change the IP, injectors and return lines." Next thing I remember the cab was off, and the transmission was at the re-builders. Now the engine is going to get rebuilt. A second fuel tank showed up and Auto Zone keeps sending me...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

That's a good idea. Unfortunately I don't own one. I'll just keep taking parts off until I find it. It might be on top of the spare tire.
