M1009 no wait light, no GEN 2 light, no volts.

Check or replace fuse #17 in the attached picture. It's labeled the Engine Control Fuse. That fuse controls the GEN2 relay, Voltmeter relay, Water in Fuel light and other things. If that fuse has no voltage on either side of it, then check the fusible link red wires on the terminal block on the...

    Wiper motor overheating?

I agree with checking the linkage to ensure that it moves freely. I had the same issue on one of my trucks. Some lube on all of the connecting components helped substantially and kept the motor from overheating. The wiper motor has +12 volts to it from the fuse box. It gets a ground command...

    IP Sourcing

Prices for the IP's are on the OFI web page. The one I needed was $521.10 I sent a core in after the new unit was installed. They issued a credit for the returned core without any issues.

Installed manual push button but still have a problem

Move your push button to the other Blue wire on the GP control card. Or wire it directly to the Light Blue wire on the GP relay. Sounds like you are grounding the Dark Blue wire that goes to the Wait light.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Removed and replaced the decaying lower radiator cushions. Not to hard to do if you remove the inner fender. The one had a stone wedged in it.
