Crank but no start m1009 need advice

If you have a NAPA ST85 relay, it can be mounted directly to the firewall without any isolation. It looks like the vehicle has been converted to 12 volt operation. Using a good ground location (I usually use the ground stud on the drivers side alternator) measure and test the following using a...

    You are welcome.

    Glowplug afterglow duration.

Your GP card is functioning properly. In cold temperatures the afterglow period can be as long as 45 seconds.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I will just coil up the extra coax at the bottom of the mounting mast or the entrance panel bulkhead.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

VHF and UHF contesting is more commonly horizontal polarization. Additional gain and the ability to have good front to back radio to null out unwanted signals is easier with a yagi. I was testing the turning radius to ensure that the 2 antennas would not hit each other when mounted at the same...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

They are telescoping. One setting will get them 13 ft above ground the other setting will get the tip to 20 ft above ground. We made them so they will fit in the bed during transit. The mast on the front grill guard will go to about 20 ft as well and can have a NMO or a 3/8"x24 thread antenna...

Desperately Need information, New Glow Plug Relay Won't Click

Yep, that one. You should have +12 on the Pink/Black and when you ground the Light Blue the relay should close. Check Fuse #17, 20 amp fuse

Desperately Need information, New Glow Plug Relay Won't Click

Do you have 12 volts on the Pink/Black wire that goes to the other small terminal on the relay? If not, them you may have a blown fuse in the fuse box. Should be fuse #17

    Project m1010

Your way is fine. In all actuality it is a full proof way to ensure the that the GP under test is actually functioning properly. The ohm test is a good first "Go or No Go" test. If it's high resistance or open it probably is defective. After the ohm test it would be a good idea to put the GP...

    Wait to start light mod

I put them on to aid with troubleshooting. A quick glance at it will visually confirm certain functions. Saves time and effort trying to get a volt meter up under the dash.

CUCV Glow Plug Controller cards - Black Friday Sale

The GPD3.1 cards have a few minor engineering changes that are not on the previous cards. Otherwise they look and function the same. Yes you can still easily add a manual back up momentary switch to the GPD3.1 card.
