Correct. The fuel comes in, passes through the filter to the pickup INSIDE the filter. Opening the petcock shows pressure on the OUTSIDE of the filter.
Just because the fuel is coming from the petcock doesn't mean you're getting fuel to the engine. That just means your pump is working.
When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?
Easiest thing at this point is change your fuel filters and see if that makes a difference. Odds are you...
