    7MC-2A air compressor Questions???

Is it diesel? If so I would use 15w40 motor oil in the engine. I wouldn't think there are any other fliuds besides antifreeze which a good quality etholine glycol would be fine for.

    Storing TowBar

Great idea for the medium bar, but what about the heavy bar? Some of us have the "BIG BA#&ERD" in our trucks.

    Options for higher top speed?

14.00R20's are only rate to 55mph. What are your plans on tire, brakes, differentials, and safety equipment? My M923 with 11.00r20's will only do 55 and that is fine with me.

is it OK to leave the front hub locked when patches of ice are expected

Most all the new 1/2 ton PU's have no locking hubs. The 3/4 and 1 ton trusk in some case's still do.

is it OK to leave the front hub locked when patches of ice are expected

Shouldn't hurt anything. You may use a little more fuel though, otherwise there should be no issues. Most of the new 4X4 trucks don't have locking hubs anymore, my 2014 F150 doesn't

What do you do for seeing behind you?

When I am driving, if I can see my M105 behind my M923 there is a problem that has caused the trailer to go sideways. There are guys that have rear view cameras but they are useless if you pull a trailer. I make big use of my side mirrors which are California mirrors with 8" rounds mounted just...

If you work beneath your truck, absolutely close the cab doors!

Been there, done that. And as an auto technician I can atest to that NOT being a MV novelty. Oh, and if you're under a running truck inspecting, you may want ear plugs as that air dump in your ear is WAY loud. What? Did you say something?:lol:

    Is this wiring right. m923a2

I am not sure what a "super dim battery" means. Check all the battery connections if it is acting weak.

What does your M939 series truck weigh.

OK, here are the comparison weights for my M923 converted to M925. TM says 21600lbs for M923 TM says 22360lbs for M925 My data plate says 22473lbs empty(1984 AMG) Scales says 24440lbs So if I figure the data plate is correct and add for the winch installed the 24440lbs has to be pretty darn...

What does it mean when all the lights flash on the CTIS??

1st, try unplugging the CTIS control for a couple minutes and reconnect to reset and see if that works. This has worked for others in the past.

What does your M939 series truck weigh.

I guess I should get on a certified scale and recheck, mine sounds a little fat. rofl

I didn't realize that bobbing them shed that much weight.

What does your M939 series truck weigh.

Have any of you ever had your trucks weighed? I have an M923A0 that I have basically converted to an M925A0 and used it to haul some scrap metal today and the weigh out surprised me a little. She scaled at 24,440lbs with a full tank of fuel, fiberglass troop seats, cargo cover, heavy duty tow...
