The M939 series is going to cost a lot less to aquire and maintain in operation. The LMTV/FMTV family can be costly just to get one and if you have any problems it will suck on ALL of your bank accounts. But that is my oppinion.

Usually when you title it in your state they will want the trailer length too. Just measure from the hitch eye to the rear. Hope this helps you.
I was hoping those cabs would roll through GL too. I wanted a bunch of the parts that are in them and liked the gauges in front of the driver instead of in the center of the dash. Darn it all.
Have you checked with Boyce equipment on that stuff. I know he has a bunch of the wood one, not sure about the good fiberglass ones though. I agree, everything is cheaper east of the Mississippi.
If it is mechanically sound who cares what it looks like. That will be a fun rig to play with. If we all manage to get together for an outing at least a couple of us have winch trucks just in case. :lol: Alexsha, you aren't mad at me over the cargo covers are you? I do have 2 excellent use ones...
I have finally gotten all my PTO drive and winch controls in my M923. Now I just need a few gallons of 10wt to finish and test. Then I have to put on my new hood and replace the rear T-case output seal. Then there is no more work on it till I break something.
