Good questions, my local welding supplier keeps CO2 tanks in stock for all of the soda fountains in town, so you can just swap out for a full one. I have fancy powder coated tanks so I drop them off have have mine filled. CO2 it cheap but every few years they have to hydro test them before...
Next time the evap fan kicks off, pop the hood and see if your AC compressor is running. If the evap and comp are going on and off together that is normal.
The front fan (I am guessing condenser fan) should stay on as long as the switch is on high or low speed.
If your not fast enough with the...
This is who we use . BUT If you have a truck dealership (freightliner, peterbuilt, Kenworth) or a tractor dealership in your area Call them, They either have a fuel shop in house or have one they use for their pumps and can recommend.
EM Tharp / Golden State Peterbuilt
CAMO,
Yes, E.M.Tharp / Golden state Peterbuilt 15243 Rd 192 Porterville ca, 93257 559-782-5800. They have a great fuel shop - We use them all the time.
Send your injectors to the same place you sent your pump and have them rebuilt. I send the injectors with the pump every time I send a pump to the fuel shop.
It costs vary little to have them cleaned and pop pressure adjusted, Or if needed the Tip replaced and adjusted. These injectors are...
Like Mogman said, I only rotate Radial tires front to rear, NEVER in an X pattern.
An X pattern on a radial has caused belt separation and tire failure on my vehicles.
front to rear and rear to front left side same on right side so the rotation of the tire stays the same.
Mogman;
You might check your injection pump P/N, the DB2831-5485 pumps were on late model HMMWV engines and that's as good as it gets. DB2 - 8 cyl-3.10 plungers and 5485 were set for 200HP from the factory. also I set the spring length on mine to 1 3/4" on the boost controller and under hard...
I purchased both the Wicked Wheel 2 and turbo boost controller at the same time from the same place, For what it's worth my 2004 M1123 with a take out GEP turbo engine sits at a solid 10 PSI boost while accelerating and sits there while cruising 55 to 70 with the spring adjusted to 2" . At...
On my M1123 at 60 MPH when I lift my foot on the throttle I get dynamic braking from the engine until I touch the Brake the converter unlocks and RPM drops to an idle, and I lose my engine braking. If your losing engine braking when you back off the throttle you may have more going on here than...
if you look on top of the adapter that your bad gear slides into you will see numbers, those numbers reflect the number of teeth on the new gear your installing. set that number on the mark in the tail housing and tighten down the hold down clamp that's how you set the gear lash for your new...
Just a note on the gasket, after trashing the first one I pulled the 4 bolts and removed the turbo down pipe. putting the lip in the pipe and seating it was easy with it on the bench.
I could not find that gasket in the TM, But I could not stop the exhaust leak. The gasket shown is a Fel pro 60718 / Mahle F7507 / Victor-Reinz 711365500.I went to rockauto.com and looked at a 98 hummer H1. Its a 2 3/32" gasket, the metal lip on the flat side fits tight into the cast neck...
I have done it. There is not a kit that I know of, I went to the TM and ordered all the individual parts and installed them. The parts list is extensive and expensive but it can be done. OEM parts to do this (not sure at today's prices) will probably run around 9K +.
Just look everything over carefully .
My M1123 had the main brake line mid way down the left frame rail spliced with a brass ferrule coupling. You could see that the brass ferrules couldn't bite into the steel line and had almost slipped apart. Battlefield fix? anything to get it rolling...
o-ring is P/N 5745167 BUT IMHO that much oil there is a problem, Most likely seal out in the turbo ( if lucky) or engine has a lot of blow by being recirculated by the CDR valve. That much oil in the intake is never a good thing.
Here in California we have off road diesel.
It is the same as regular diesel except it was sold without road use tax (mostly used for tractors in ag) . So to identify it from regular Diesel they put red die in it. This makes it easy for the powers to be to fine you ( to death) if they find...
