I think your problem is due to not using diesel as your fuel.

Jonesal. What type of vehicle do you have? I have been dealing with MVs for years. Never had trouble finding stamped numbers. The part numbers are easily redable that are stamped into the frame. If anyone on the site has found a stamped vin on a m 923a2 made by BMY. I would like to see it

No numbers on my truck either. I cleaned the whole frame rail and no other numbers

Nothing nada, Cleaned the the whole rail and no numbers. Even tried the passenger side. I don't think anyone has found a SN on the frame rail of a 923A2 cargo truck made by BMY .

Suprman, you found those numbers in front of the steering box ? Or where did you find them? My frame is covered with undercoating . This makes it hard to see anything.
