I have started swapping over to Haltec Large-Bore valve stems...the large bores air up & down sooooo much quicker! I installed a quick-disconnect fitting on the large-bore air chuck so I can use it on any of my air compressor outlets, and it works much better than standard size Schraeder...

Scott, it sounds like you're on the right track. These M105 trailers are awesome for modifying to fit your individual needs. Better to engineer in plenty of overkill, since you're more likely to break down far away from help than while sitting in your driveway with all of your tools...
