I am keeping the rear axle in the stock location, with a 9' max bed I don't feel I will hurt the frame to much with loading that size bed up. I plan to keep the upper dogbone, but will be removing the bottom ones and "trimming" the boogie mount alittle....
Editing Video 3! With the shorter days I am regulated to Saturday and 1/2 of Sunday to film did alot of work in "too dark to film" time that won't show up but axle removal is kinda boring/easy so you didn't miss much. Couldn't get the time lapse working this time, but will make the best of...
Is there anyone in the Phoenix area that can pick up a part (47-55 pounds) box it up and ship it to me in Los Angeles/Pasadena CA? I have been waiting a couple of weeks for a total with shipping, but it seems that the company is too busy right now and has never done it...so I am looking for...
Found this for you to digest till next weekend (My kid has his Eagle Scout project this weekend and next weekend I will be making a video of the rear axle removal and will measure both M135 and the M35 rims).
Also found this I wonder if the Budd part numbers show up on our rims:
" Starting...
Maybe the 2 inch difference is with the M211 rim, the WWII splits I had looked to have very similar backspacing. I think the hub flip and brake drum "spacer"(center) had the most impact. Too bad you are so far away you could have the rims I took off (if you guarantee you would use them that is)...
Could I get someone to give me a few pics and measurements of the clearance between the grill and winch looking down from the top, lower tank to nearest winch interference Looking up from the ground and winch shaft to lower tank from transmission looking forward. It looks like the Freightliner...

HiYa Folks,
I am looking for another pice of the puzzle, a brake air compressor for my M135 that I am swapping a Cummins 6B into, and have come looking for answers/recommendations.
Is there one brand that is better than others?
Does anyone have any medium duty truck salvage yard...
10.16.17 Update
I have to apologize Section8 I wrote the part number on my hand and forgot about it, washed my hands and it was gone!
On a better note snuck in some good work on m135,
I made a great complex, detailed, intricate template of the axle housing contour to allow the truck to move...
What I have found
HiYa Duuane,
I have been researching this also and never got anything concrete.."THIS IS WHAT I DID" sort of statements...always my friend's first cousin on his mother's side three times removed heard some one who did this...LOL! But I have to say I have seen alot of...
Hi Section8,
I haven't got that close yet. I am following the Rockwell disc brake tech I have researched on the web. Curious which hub is bigger the Rocks or H110s....That being said if the center hole register is bigger than the hub..it will be lug-centric. My preference would be...
