I hope you make it as well Pat. My oldest has a football game at Oglethorpe not far from the rally. I'll need to be absent for a few hours Friday to watch the game and bring him to the rally.
I would not drive it very far without air assist. You don't weight enough to stop it very well without air. How do I know you don't weigh enough? You fit in the cab.
I'm guessing here but I'd say I have bled deuce brakes maybe 50 times. Not all my trucks but all with my bleeder. Unless I'm pressed for time or on the road, I'll bleed them and let it sit overnight and bleed it again. There are some spots that just need to pushes to get air out. As far as the...
I've backed mine with a deuce, it's a challenge. If you can't see the trailer sides, add a magnetic extension so you you can see the reactive movements.
I think even with the rear bar picked in, you gain strength in the frame mount. My son has an S10 blazer with a 8 pt bar. No back seat but we have toyed with the idea of a single racing bucket back there.

So, from an investment point of view, what could you do to...
It just dawned on me, you're working with bucket seats already if this is an M1010. I'd have to say, the seats in my 1010 leave you feel like your sitting in a hole.
The Leece Nevilles are isolated ground alternators. By dedicating one to each battery, you retain all the benefits of both systems. Mine has been absolutely flawless since Roy did the install.
I would suggest reading this thread a couple of times. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?101135-M1010-DUVAC-Removal-Plan-quot-B-quot&highlight=Plan+b
Pay attention to ChevyC60 posts. I own the ambulance he did. Basically, he used 2 12v Leece Neville alts and made a fool proof system.
Well, poopoo, mine are welded. I shall reach out to reading and see if I can buy the ones you have. If you happen to remove one of your for adjustments, can you snap a pic please?
