    M886 patient compartment

The "upper bunks" appear to be shelves onto which the litters slide in from the rear. Is this correct? The litter hangers I have are not for supporting such a shelf, but dangle from the ceiling, then the litter handles hang from loops on the ends of that device. Two hangers per litter, one at...

    M818 Tractor Registration Number Location

Referring to the Texas FMV LAWS thread linked in my signature block below, you are correct, the painted numbers need to be visible from the outside. In service Military Vehicles with the numbers painted on the insides of the doors ARE VISIBLE FROM THE OUTSIDE when positioned ABOVE the seat...

    Just Bought an M35A2

At least in Texas, and probably in certain other states as well, the owner of a vehicle "not secured" (i.e.: leaving the keys in a typical vehicle) can be both charged with a crime essentially enabling the theft, AND be held liable in civil and criminal consequences of the result of the stolen...

    M886 patient compartment

A list of the things you need would be helpful. I have a diverse supply of random parts and pieces of various MV's. Among them are some "stretcher hangers" from an "Ambu-bus" or "Bus-ulance". I have no idea if they are the same as what they used to "stack" the litters in your ambulance or not...

    M151 Mine detection vehicle.

Thanks, Rick. I have a growing interest in autonomous vehicles. Before long we may all be just packages in Artificially Intelligent (AI) Vehicles that pick up and deliver us on demand. Can you say: JETSONS ?!?!?

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

Thanks, Rory. I new I could have GOOGLED that, but I was having too much fun mutating the initials into something satirical.

Decision on a knuckle boom crane.

General rule of thumb... The UNthreaded portion or "SHANK" of any connecting hardware (bolt, pin, shaft) SHOULD fully engage (extend through) the load-bearing bore of the mount, frame, plates, etc. for the full and less concentrated loading of the all-thread wherein ONLY the "points" of the...
