OK, she is running! Made a 30 mile run with no issues! Fingers crossed! Also added the BO drive, markers, Slave Recpt, and the 1st aide kit.

Never saw one as an Ambulance, but we did over the years train on using every cargo truck even FMTV's using the method in the picture, well at least over the seats! and on the floor, never thought of the side racks? We were a Combat Support Hospital so in the current battles we hardly ever had...
Hi all, 63 here and just got the Deuce 2 years ago! However, I've been driving them straight since I was 19 so It doesn't feel much different to me! That's probably do to the fact I don't remember what it felt like in 1972!:D
Try spraying a bunch of WD40 into the leaking line, hook a air line and blow the fluid back into the system, any stuck valves should free up! May just be a stuck valve! Seems to happen a lot!
Welcome from Attleboro, SE! I had the same problem when I was in the Motor Pool a few years back, But with age comes Air leaks too! I'll try and call some people tomorrow and get some help remembering what we did for the fix!
Still trying to work the bugs out, seems we have a carb issue now! We rebuild it and still having issues. In between the fuel pump died! I "think" we are getting close!
PS: I know I would not be happy is I had bought a vehicle and the dataplate was missing! Even though it happens on older trucks, but a hummer should still have one! Guess you'll have to buy a blank and put in the info you have!
