Yeah, I have a few things I need and would really like to get them from John, but not at the expense of his well being. I hope all his health issues are fixed or under control and I can hold out on the parts need for a while longer.
Didn't know where to post this. I saw that there may be signs of that web site coming back to life. Will they be coming back on line any time soon?
Thanks.
About a year and a half ago (maybe a little longer) I noticed some bubbling in several body areas of my "rust free and restored" CUCV. I had noticed the day I got the truck home that one of the rockers was shot (in and out), but that is another story.
Anyway, since I travel for work a lot, I...
Thanks All. lostintexas, I am eagerly waiting for more info and some pictures. Thanks for doing this. I will hunt down some of the antenna base (the AB-558) and whip pieces. Hopefully I can find them reasonably priced, as with everyone else, I'm on a budget.
Thanks !
OK, in additional to all the other crap I am dealing with (life happens), I have to do some maintenance and make some body repairs (rust sucks) to my 1009. While she is apart, I was thinking of adding a CB radio. I want to use a military antenna setup and I have read several posts that deal...

Thanks for the info Wile E.. I saw one on a hummer that a member on here has. It wasn't hooked up to anything and it looked very different. I would like to track one down, if nothing more than for the really cool factor !

Pictures of this antenna at the bottom of thread. Anyone know what this antenna is used for, what they usually cost and where could I pick one (or two)...
I am in the Norwich area for a while. Don't see a lot of MV's in the area. Except for the Essex show in June, are there any other shows or get togethers (like a Sunday breakfast thing, etc) taking place around here?
Thanks
Use the search, it is your friend. That said, even with a bad heater core (leaking) I got really good heat in 10 degree weather. With the new AutoZone Spectra Premium core, proper installed, I still get good heat at zero.
