I like the ones the Border Patrol used on their Blazers. Someone on here had a set. They cover each area of glass on the 1009 and the windshield one flips down out of the way and the rear flips up when not needed. I would love to find a set for myself.
Take some chalk and draw a line across each tire. Run then around a bit and see where your chalk line remains. If it is gone from the center, they are over inflated. Gone from the edges, under inflated. Gone across the entire tire……..good to go.
I run 32" BFG AT's and I keep them at around...
What can I use on some two piece aluminum wheels? I want to take down the barrels, clean them up real good and polish the lips and paint the inside of the barrels. The faces are fine. Is Black Beauty or Black Diamond a good choice? I also saw some glass beads at the Tractor Supply near me.

Any knowledge would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I recently did mine. It leaked the day I brought it home and I waited to replace it (for a number of reasons). Anyway, I went to Autozone and picked up the Spector (sp) Premium Heater Core. It fit well and I made sure it was sealed all the way around so air flow went through the core, not...
When it happened, were you towing anything or taking a long drive in hot weather? The trans will sometimes get hot and blow fluid from the vent, especially if it is overfilled. Like pat ray said, checking the vent is a good first step. Mine was a bit overfilled and when I made a long trip the...
I did look at the TM and a parts catalog or two. The numbers are different but they are really close in looks. I was just wondering if anyone had made the attempt. The reason I am asking is I came across a brand new exhaust for a 1008 for cheap, but it ain't cheap if I can't use it on my 1009...
