to each his own but Ihave seen several 6.2s self destruct on the stuff. maybe those guys did not clean/filter it correctly but the 6.2 was designed to run diesel not used motor oil. Its not a mult-fuel.

That will be a real pig with that motor.

The super deuce that goes 65 mph, gets 10 MPG and does it all day long up hill both ways rides again. Are you using WMO and cooking oil too :)

well there are like 500 HMMWVs surplused and thousands of m35s surplused. My HMMWV is worth every penny i have in it. I love it.

i always think its funny when people worry about fuel economy when talking about large military vehicles. Its never going to be good. When mine is empty I fill it up. Thats my fuel economy. LOL

thank you for the comments. the CCKW kinda is the father to all tacticle cargo trucks. During WWII George S. Patton stated"The 2 1/2-ton truck is our most valuable weapon." in referring to the CCKW. Eisenhower is often quoted saying " without the CCKW we could not have won the war"...

Franklin battery should be able to fix your starter. I would look over the electrical system very close since it has been converted.
