I've finally got the truck resembling War Wagon up and running. Not sure how to gather all the various threads, ie Vietnam tribute truck, etc. My War Wagon is the 1970 M35A2 W/W. 2 gun positions (for now, more planned), radio, intercom, and the rest of the stuff is being added as I get time...

Vietnam tribute has become the gun truck replica War Wagon. The original War Wagon I'm basing mine on was an M35A1. It belonged to the 240th QM. I might be able to write a book about all the twists and turns it took to get to this point. I think I can post a pic of it. My truck is an 1970...

Hopefully I found the book. TM9-1005-245-14, it covers a bunch of mounts. When it gets here, Ill pass on the info.

Hi, just saw your post. Would you happen to know what kind of numbers still exist,such as nomenclature, part number,stock number, etc. what I really need a picture of a LVTP-5A's data plate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -jeff

I have 2 complete and one partial. The complete ones cost me approx. $300, both were purchased from fellow ss'ers. As to the CUCV cable, it seems that that stays with the kit. The calibrated pieces are the ones more likely to be gone. I've used the kits to trouble shoot an oil pressure...

Sorry for the delay, just saw your post. Technically (for now) no broken bones. Looks like a re-injury. Had to have work done on the knee twice and it aint looking good. Probably have to have another one. (insert nasty word here), I hate surgeries (12+ since the accident in 2005).

I'll look them up, thanks. I can't seem to get a brake (except for my knee). The weather this winter just aint cooperating. Can't even clean up the barn cause of the darn knee....:cry:

I'm pretty sure I've blown my head gasket on the XM-211. I've spen the past 4 hours searching everywhere I could think of for the Gasket Set. Do any of you M-135/M211 owners know of a source for these sets? Thanks You for any help you can provide. BTW there 21 pages of for sale parts. Wow...

I know it's been brought up in many, many thread but it can't hurt to say it again. My M101A1 trailer follows right along behind my M1009. Two things are very important...reading the book (sorry don't have page and paragraph) the M101 series trailers are not made to be towed behind the M1009...
