    Gauge Cluster Wiring… Help?

Hello, I have an 06 m1165. The dash lights are both LEDs. Speedo has built in light. When I have the switch on, I only see the speedo on even when the garage is pitch black. When I pop of the 2 caps, I can see the LED glowing green but not bright. I understand the bulbs can be going out but...

Lubing the speedo gear (red gear) question.

Trans fluid or tcase oil? Does the trans and tcase share fluids?

Lubing the speedo gear (red gear) question.

Hello all, I don’t know much about this transfer case but i was wondering if the speedo gear needed to be greased or does the tcase oil keep it lubed? It is a new clean install so I don't have a reference to the old part. I took a peep inside the hole with a camera and it seems that there are...

12” Brake Caliper Driver Side Install Help me please~

I did not remove these just for this job. Had to do a lot of stuff in that area. I do not have the wilwood calipers. I have solid disks and normal calipers. I do not have the A1. As you can see from the photos, either the halfshaft had to go to offset the the disk from the hub or i would have...

12” Brake Caliper Driver Side Install Help me please~

Welp… you were right… had to disconnect the half shaft and pop the disk off the hub and let it rest in the bolts to give it enough clearance and wiggle room to get the caliper and pads on the bracket. Best design ever. maybe it would have fit better with the 10” disk. Might be a good reason...

12” Brake Caliper Driver Side Install Help me please~

It is not the A2 version. Just the standard m1165. I have removed the radiator stack, lower guard bar and horn.

12” Brake Caliper Driver Side Install Help me please~

The truck came without front brakes. I was able to get one side on by inserting one pad and squeezing the other one in by holding the caliper forward a bit. The driver side doesn’t have room in the front unfortunately. Has anyone installed a brake on an ecv with 12” solid rotors (Driver...

    HMMWV Export Question

So I looked up this question for different reasons. As the prime owner of the hmmwv i feel that if the party that sells it to a foreign entity down the road may be tied back to me. On the EUC, i stated that i was building this for a hobby but can be sold when I dont need it anymore. I checked...

ECV front Drive shaft coupler help P/N

Thanks... so the two numbers are the same. I saw that on some ebay items, they had the same number. I wish the amgeneral parts site would have this corrected. It was the same with the yoke caliper backer. Same part but not mentioned on the site.

ECV front Drive shaft coupler help P/N

Hello, I am trying to figure out the proper part for the front coupler shaft that connects the front propeller shaft to the front diff. It is for an ECV m1165 12k (not the A1). The only part number I can find is the 12342620-1 in the TM. The AM general does not have the ECVs as compatible...
