I leave mine out. I leave her in gear as well. I installed a Cat switch under the dash so there is no starting without getting under the hood and doing a bit of work.

I gave $1750.00 for mine when I lived in Cali. in 2008. It also is a M274a2. It ran great...electric start etc. It needed re-upholstery, tires, a few seals etc. From your pics, I'd say yours is worth between $1,500.00 and $1,700.00 if the one pictured is the runner. the parts one is worth...
There is a ton of info regarding brakes locking up. Here is my problem and solution. I also have had the brakes lock up. It took a couple of pumps but the pedal was all the way up and rock hard...brakes locked up.
I bled a back wheel cylinder and fluid shot out and the brakes let go.

In the words of my good friend who worked on deuces for 25 yrs "best way to kill a deuce is by NOT running it. Run her for a while and watch the leaks stop". His advice has worked good for me. Run her hard for a while and then see what remains leaking.
I think I used about 5-6 gallons on my truck. Mind you, I tore my truck done pretty far so many parts were painted front, back etc. I also painted inside, outside, underhood, bed etc.

In between rain storms, I was able to install one of my (2) new cab covers. fits great! I also installed my new cargo cover (thanks Devin). Here are a pics.
