there is a military swap meet Saturday April 4th at Fort Steilacoom. it's from 10-4pm I'm gonna be there and, if weather permits, will bring my deuce down. I say we make this a Steel Soldiers gathering as well. Even if the weather is fowl, we should get together. who's with me???? BTW...

The grab handle is great. I've got a couple of those handles from old deuce frames. I'm gonna put one of those on for sure.

I leave mine out. I leave her in gear as well. I installed a Cat switch under the dash so there is no starting without getting under the hood and doing a bit of work.

There is a ton of info regarding brakes locking up. Here is my problem and solution. I also have had the brakes lock up. It took a couple of pumps but the pedal was all the way up and rock hard...brakes locked up. I bled a back wheel cylinder and fluid shot out and the brakes let go. Long...

In the words of my good friend who worked on deuces for 25 yrs "best way to kill a deuce is by NOT running it. Run her for a while and watch the leaks stop". His advice has worked good for me. Run her hard for a while and then see what remains leaking.

I thought about getting a solarizer and adding a slave cable end so I can plug it into the nato plug on the side of the cab. Anyone done this?

put on the new top In between rain storms, I was able to install one of my (2) new cab covers. fits great! I also installed my new cargo cover (thanks Devin). Here are a pics.
