Nice looking water buffalo.[thumbzup]
One thing I would look at doing to your new trailer is to trun the lid around.
The TM shows the hinge on the front of the lid. Yours and most of the newer one I seen have it at the back. No big deal but alot of the ones you see on GL have NO lid. I think...
I had a parts truck that came from an FD that cut those out. The doors did not work right.
And just THINK if the back of the cab flexes back just a little the door WILL come open!
Unlike new cars that have that lock bolt like pin, the deuce has just the small lip chatch.
I've put a few rotor heads on it my day. I can not belive anyone could put the split cone in upside down. But then again I have work with a few that could.:? Did the TI not look at it?:???: Boy I miss those days, wish I had stayed in longer:(.
It's "HER" book a 3 ring binder? They did not have the antique tags at all the office's a few years ago. When they started to put them at all the offices they made that "book". I think some one goofed it up. When my lady looked in it and I told her that I had others truck with the tag she made a...
They tryed to tell me that at the local DMV, when I tryed to get tags for my 5 ton. I said I have 3 other truck all ready tagged that way. She made a call to her boss who call some one eles who called back in a few min's and said it was fine and to tag it. I think the "can haul over a...
The syncos are between 2&3 and 4&5. There is not one for 1st. That is why it's harder to get into 2nd. As for the oil or lube.:confused: I'm so confussed
There is also a M105/103 that uses vacum brakes.
And there are 2 different brake setup's used on the trailers. The early one's used 1 wheel cyclinder per wheel, like the M35 trucks but the later ones use 2 wheel cyclinder per wheel, like the M135/211 trucks.
But I still want to know what...
You may have a bad cap. It should have an over flow tube. Now some trucks do not like to be that full. That is where the TM says it should be thought. One of my truck the level stays right there, but another one like's to be about 1/2 gal lowwer.:?
I too think you would be better off in the long run to just change out the axle. It would be so much easyer to get part for it like brakes and wheel brearing. And if you were out some where and broke a wheel you could get one and not have to make one.2cents
As for the 24 to 12 volt , I would...
TM 9-2320-260-24p-1 2003 does not show a useable on code in the front of the book for a M819 at all. But yes it is all list in the MWO. I've got some other "P's" for the M809's but have not looked in them.
M819 per MWO uses p/n12300571
M821 & M812 uses p/n 12356821
The rest of the M809's uses p/n 7389493 as do most of the M939's
The TM I looked at does not list a useable on code for the M819 at all:-?
Well I just looked in those big paper things that have all the numbers and pic's and stuff. What are they called?:-P Any way those thing say that the M809's (most) and the M939's(most) use the same wheel. The M821 and M812 use a diferent wheel.
