I seen a ps mag that talked about both item on that trailer. 1) is some kind of handle/bar that helps you lift the landing grear one handed. and 2) the ring pulls out and moves side to side to make hooking up easyer.
The artical did not have any pic thought. So on pick up YOU MUST post alot of...
If you do go with the M149 and remove the pluming PLEASE let me know.
But I also think you would be better off with the M105 and pod. Or better a M200 with the pod it woul be lower and more stable. Plus the pod are 500 or 600 gal. The military also had a fuel trailer with pump not sure of the...
Not 100% on the socket. Still need to get one for putting it back together. I think I use a big wrench/plies or hammer to get them off can't remember. I did measure at the time so I hope I did it right.
For the most part the lube trailer and the M105A2 have the same brakes. The lube trailer has all the same parts inside the brake drum, but does not have the park brake cable. Funny thing is it has all the parts inside for the parking brake thought. Mine has 2 M/C's one hooks to the top wheel...

My ex air force truck does the same thing. You can hear with the eng off, the brakes retrating one by one as the fuild goes back in to the master cyclinder. Not saying this is right but they do work fine. And a brake adjust ment is on my list of things to do.
