    Goodyear MV/T tire pickup

Are those old tires a different measurement? 16-20 that is shorter then the 395? Either way, those new tires are nice, and they would make GREAT tires for that 8x8!

Where is the unlaoder valve on the cummins 250?

Luck based on a guess on the pictures of the engine, and the spedo reading 26 miles and only 7 hours.

Where is the unlaoder valve on the cummins 250?

Yeah, you got that one right! The unloader valve did need work though.

My M818 recovery MCLB Barstow (AKA the surface of the sun)

The buzzer is most likely just unhooked. It plugs into the low air pressure switch, which is on the inside of the firewall, just to the right of the steering column. One airline goes into it, and there is a electric plug (number 85 I think), coming out the top. Or should be anyways. I got lucky...

Where is the unlaoder valve on the cummins 250?

Well, just got back in from completely pulling the unloader valve apart, cleaning it up, sanding down some parts, and putting it back together. Then, guess what, I traced the 'final' (I hope anyways), air leak to.... the low air pressure switch. Is that the same part that is used on the deuce?

My M818 recovery MCLB Barstow (AKA the surface of the sun)

That is a pretty nice looking truck, and good looking tires! Did they have any dry rot/weather cracking? Low buzzer should come on immediately when the air pressure is below 60 psi I think. Which is pretty much anytime you start the truck after it has sat for a while, or drained the tanks.

Where is the unlaoder valve on the cummins 250?

    Thanks, will do.

Where is the unlaoder valve on the cummins 250?

My paperwork shows the defects found on the truck when it was inspected for 'release'. It lists it as 'Unloader valve leaking - C2'. And cost of parts as $3.43, and 2 hours of labor to repair (not replace). So it sounds like it either needs a little work, or it's a gasket issue maybe.

Where is the unlaoder valve on the cummins 250?

My unloader valve is bad. I get constant bleed off of air from behind the dash. To be expected there, but I am unsure of where the unloader valve IS on the cummins motor. I know where it is on the multi fuel. Seen a few posts on that in the deuce sections. But the air compressor on the 250...

    Extended Mirror bracket?

That is exactly where that picture was taken. Wife was following me in the pickup and got a perfectly timed shot for that picture. As for the mirrors, after driving 700 miles and using both mirrors, I have to say that for on road use, the bridge truck mirrors are GREAT! They are stable, give a...

    Extended Mirror bracket?

http://www.steelsoldiers.com/5-ton-up/36881-10-tons-trailer-sale.html Dirt's 10 ton has the exact mirror brackets I have on my driver's side.

    Extended Mirror bracket?

Well, after picking up my 818, I noticed that the driver side mirror bracket is longer and has two additional braces. I noticed the same bracket on a 10 ton, but didn't know if that was stock, or added later. I like this bracket, it is SOLID. Not all the vibrations that the normal ones have...

Not speed! That is a good one! I bet there will only be a few MVs there that COULD break the speed limits.

HEMMT rims, OH to CA (OR, WA ok as well)

Not really a hi-jack seeing as the original issue was resolved. And it really does help others when it comes to moving these heavy rims around. Also note, I have a business address to ship to, with a loading dock and forklift for removal. This can affect shipping methods and costs.

HEMMT rims, OH to CA (OR, WA ok as well)

100, If I would have been one day later, I would have just picked those rims up from you while I was there! Grounded, yeah, if I wasn't worried about the time frame, I would have used you to bring them out. Just not in time for me.

HEMMT rims, OH to CA (OR, WA ok as well)

Thanks for all the help guys! I got a number of PMs and such about help on this one. It ended up that with the time frame I wanted, that M1075 can get the rims to me in the cheapest fashion, in time.

PNW-2009-First Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy

I am on the look for a couple trailers. A nice cargo style, and a lowboy, are the two top ones I am after! Btw, 700 miles for the recovery, was a LONG trip at 50-52 mph! Sure glad the truck was up to it. But I think this motor only has the 7xx miles on it now that it's home, SCORE!
