Welcome to Steel Soliders
Grounds will effect some lights and not others.
I assume that you checked all the wiring underneath before hooking anything up.
Most of these trailers had a hard life in service and were not that well maintained.
I would physically refresh every ground you can...
Pictures very blurry, but if that’s what I think it is, someone can steal that in about 2 seconds.
The original shackle pins with cotter keys, while not immune to theft, take some time and effort to remove.
If that’s just a regular pin in yours, someone can have all four of them off and be...
The original M1009 wheels are kinda of a rare breed.
Not easily found.
I personally would spend the extra $$ to restore the original wheels instead of buying anything aftermarket.
Today I serviced my NF-2D.
Changed oil and all filters.
Mobil1 Delvac 10w40 and all Wix filters.
Have put 62.4 hours on unit since I acquired it on 8/29/17.
Starts right up every time.
I do run it weekly to keep it happy.
Continues to be flawless!!
Still use it often. That will slow...

Haven't heard of a good substitute for the original...
OKC location is even selling all their warehouse items.
Forklifts, fans, ramps, tables, pallet racks and even the chain link fence.
All almost gone.
Place looks weird empty.
Your local radiator shop can order one for you.
My local guy knew exactly what radiator I needed,
plus the part number without having to look it up.
Had it the next day and undamaged.
Box took scrapes but part inside was fine.
Great price too. Considering what it was.
Plus your helping a...
The stock system works as designed.
For whatever reason, some guys convert to 12v, install push buttons, etc.
If it works for them....Great!!
Their truck......Their rules.
I prefer the stock system.
Have had a cascade GP failure due to broken tips on three plugs.
Didn't discourage me one...
While a double edged sword, having the media involved could help drastically.
Showing all the help the trucks provided when storms hit.
Helping LE and Emergency services, etc.
Having a few (or a lot) trucks stop by the tv stations and someone(s) who is very well versed in the current LA...
The afterglow is to keep temps in cylinders up until sustained combustion is assured.
When it’s really cold outside, engine has a chance of stalling and quitting without afterglow.
