Here is a link to the page it was on.

Sheridan, OR.
This was the 11th one.
My 2nd.
Started as Mogs and now is all sorts of vehicles of European ancestry.
VW syncros, haflingers, Mogs, volvo 303s, Ural motorcycles and styer Puch Pinz's.
OK here is my 1966 TLF-8.
It was stationed north of Munich, I was born east of Munich in Traunstein,
I am going to do a full restoration on it.
I have the actual wappens from Traunstien and whole bunch of stuff from the Fire Chief.
These are pics of it at North West MOGFEST last weekend.
Also...

Scott,
There is always a guest room available for a Steel Soldier at my place.
Boy the DUKW is in sad shape now.
Ryan,
Thanx for the offer to hit you up for parts/info when the time arrives.[thumbzup]
RDUKW,
I got my DUKW from Steve Preston in Portland.
He had an SS want ad here.
Seized engine, but it all looks to be there, brake lines are all rusted thru.
Hull looks pretty sound., many coats of paint on the sides to scrape.
Rear has a boom crane welded to the deck, over where the winch...
paulfarber,
Your TM9-801 site is great.
That is really going to come in handy as I picked up a 45' DUKW a month a go.
I was thumbing thru the site and in the Bendix Hydrovac manual, and at the top of page 18, when you click to go to <19> it takes you to page 12.
Just thought you'd like to...

Also since your the Chatty Kathy on this thread (94 pages and 831 posts) why don't you start a new PNW Stuff thread.
We could have a new one started every 3 Months or so, label them like AUG 2010...
Dare I ask if you looked it up in the TM :deadhorse:
I did a search (you can to, its easy) and got this

Nice piece of video Steve, I am sure the landing craft folks truly appreciated the ride.
My DUKW arrived today after lunch.
She is going to have to wait for a couple weeks, as I have to prepare for North West Mog Fest.
But then......oh boy.:jumpin:
Yep!
I sure am glad I am on the 'did it' side of the line this year, rather than the 'wish'd I did it' side.
