Well last weekend I touched up a few nicks here and there and went to a local Car show! Won, 3rd Place in the Special Vehicle category! Not bad for a car show! Huge draw for the ole military folks and kids!

The 1008 is twice as loud as any 1009, maybe even 3 times as loud, it always was! I drove thousands of miles in them and almost never wore ear plus! But after all my years and now saying "What!" to everybody, I would at least wear them if you drive for any distance, if for nothing else, ear...

Everyone as far as I've seen have, covered all the bases! So the balls in your court! I did as some have said on small trailers add marker sticks on the trailers so I knew where they were at all times, we mounted them high and pointing up so as not to add to them hitting anything.

As the original poster stated his intent was to keep his as original as possible, I was around 1009's everywhere and for the most part, unless someone cut the chain post #14 nailed it!
Now for security, remember folks, chains and locks are only there to keep the honest people honest!! :roll:

Sorry, not a Kitchen Trailer but at least it didn't get scrapped!
Over several hundred miles and no major issues, painters tarp repels water, and pool cover kept everything dry. So overall, I'd say I've achieved my goal of making a basic camping trailer.
