All good, I've got one on order from kascar.

    M1028 Dana 70hd pinion yoke

Yeah it's leaking a bit. On a slight side note is there any information on using a flange on the t-case output yoke? Currently there's not even a strap with bolts so the only option is to unbolt the rear driveshaft from the diff. It'd be cool to have a flange on the t-case output, just like the...

Why is there this hole on the fuel pump..looks like it would allow oil to escape?

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

The rod seems to have broken without breaking into small pieces.

I guess this push rod is a little difficult to get. Amazon doesn't have any? I'm in a hurry to encounter the next problem that will keep this engine from running.

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

Yeah I'm having trouble finding a magnet that is small enough. Most are large ones used for picking up bolts. Where can I get a new rod? It doesn't look like napa/O'Reilly/AutoZone has one ... What grease do I use for the new rod? Update: got a magnet, got the piece out. Good to go there...

Push rod is broken. How much is still left in the engine? Does the fragment fall into the pan or remain against the cam?

    M1028 Dana 70hd pinion yoke

Driveshaft is already disconnected and both straps are off. The yoke itself is damaged. I heard heat isn't good for the pinion?

    M1028 Dana 70hd pinion yoke

Either way I have to get it out, its extremely rusted. Damaged as well. Figured I might as well get a new part.

    M1028 Dana 70hd pinion yoke

Bolts are seized in the threads of the yoke. U joint is actually fine, just need a new bearing cap, got a little scratched.

    M1028 Dana 70hd pinion yoke

Anyone know the exact replacement for the pinion yoke on the Dana 70s? I'm still wrenching on the nut to take it off, but in the mean time I thought I'd go pick up the replacement somewhere. Summit racing has a few, but theres couple u joint sizes/spline counts to choose from.

Yes the pump is dry. But that pump is working. There is fuel getting to the inlet of the filter. I'm probably overthinking this and its just a clogged filter. Hopefully.

Yeah I inspected all that rubber hosing, its in good shape, no dry rot or holes.
  14. erasedhammer

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

Yeah I opened that valve and nothing while cranking. So I suppose changing the filter and checking for obstructions is the problem is first loe

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

Short of disassembling the intake, both hoses do go under the manifold. I suppose the filter is the issue though? Since one side if full of fuel and the other is dry?
  16. erasedhammer

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

Which line is input and which is output? Top line is full of fuel. Bottom line is bone dry. I suppose it depends on which is which, but looks like a filter issue?

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

Wouldnt it be leaking if the lines were letting air in/ chewed on?
  18. erasedhammer

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

Just in case I do have to replace the fuel pump, the oil level is below where the push rod enters the block right?
  19. erasedhammer

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

Brand new batteries, 24.5v. But the alternator lights are both on, but I suppose that's a problem for another day. Yeah compression might be the issue, not sure how it could happen on a 14k mile 6.2?
  20. erasedhammer

    Crank, no start, white smoke.

On a side note, would you happen to know how long a 6.2 could idle off of fuel in the lines if it couldn't get fuel from the tank? When I first started it, it idled fine for 10 minutes then died, and now I can't get it started. Do you think this would indicate clogged lines from the tank or...
