A 3/4 ton command car is a rare vehicle IMHO it would ruin it to put in a different tranny. do you know how to double clutch? That is all that needs to be done to shift smoothly.

you have to take a ratchet strap and compress the runflat with it. Put it around the middle and tighten as much as possible and it should go in the tire. In my opinion its best to leave them out.

I think unloading the 211 is a good thing. Esp. one with a non-stock engine and needing work. There does not seem to be much interest in the 135/211 series and are usually found quite cheap when compared to other 2.5 ton trucks
