Huh???
Am General never ever built H2 or H3 vehicles. No one other than GM has ever built Surburbans. Hummer was a brand name created by AM General to market H1 vehicles to the public. The Brand sold to GM. It is now dead. Gm never had production of any H1 or HMMWV vehicle.
as far...
www.gsaauctions.gov you can buy excess gov't property. Prices have gone upo there to as more people are looking in. Or maybe they hired the shill bidders to drive up thier values too:-D
Am General is still manufacturing military HMMWVs. A Suburban has always been a Suburban and has always been manufactured by General Motors. H2 and H3 vehicles were produced by General Motors and marketed under a Hummer brand name. The Hummer brand is no longer in existence foreign or...
Did you really have a EUC rejected 20 times?
I suppose I must be suspect and in collusion with GL. I guess that is why they"let" me buy a running M35A2 for $700 and several trailers for min. bid.
I am still waiting for my list from GL of what items I am to run the price up on.
The reason for not selling HMMWVs is well documented. The simple fact of the matter is that AM General does not want the trucks in civilian hands for whatever reason. It has nothing to do with GL.
As far as price fixing at GL, In my opinion that is BS. The reason you see some lots...
The height will not even be close with your 2500 unles it adjust about 18 inches above the standard position. You need 2 guys as Bruce mentioned or use your high lift jack to lower into the pintle.
I suppose I'm in the monority. knock on wood but I have never had a real bad experience with GL. I have been buying since 2001. The worst was a truck that had the radiator pierced by a fork lift after the sale closed. It was not GLs fault as the GA national guard was the guilty party. Filed a...
A 3/4 ton command car is a rare vehicle IMHO it would ruin it to put in a different tranny. do you know how to double clutch? That is all that needs to be done to shift smoothly.
you have to take a ratchet strap and compress the runflat with it. Put it around the middle and tighten as much as possible and it should go in the tire.
In my opinion its best to leave them out.
I think unloading the 211 is a good thing. Esp. one with a non-stock engine and needing work. There does not seem to be much interest in the 135/211 series and are usually found quite cheap when compared to other 2.5 ton trucks
