I should mention as part of the equation that low voltage may be the problem. I have two batteries that were revived on the NOCO genius charger with little effort. I have one battery that took some time, but finally came back via NOCO. One was DOA, so it was replaced with a new 6TL from NAPA...
I did a bit of searching and did not find a thread covering this.
Occasionally the engine does not shut down when I switch off master power. If I switch on and back off, it usually shuts down. Once I had to cycle the switch twice to get it shut down.
Is this just a bad switch or a deeper...

I echo your compliments to suprman. I have a package from him headed my way now as well. He has helped me with some difficult parts.
There are probably members closer to you, but drop me a line if you ever get to Nashville and you can go for a ride in the 1083. I definitely like the 290 Hp tune over what's in the 4x4 trucks.
I'm glad you made it home safe! It looks like a good truck once you sort out some of the minor stuff. Some of the vendors here have newer style air dryers for sale that work much better than the OE one (finned). Check with suprman.
