One of the things we haven't talked about...
Where are you in Alaska?
What is the altitude where you are driving?
Maybe that has something to do with the problem.
.
You have been around the block a few times @CallMeColt so the info below might be useful to others that happen to read this thread later...
Guessing you already know how to use Cage Bolts to keep from killing yourself. The LMTV Parts Spreadsheet has part numbers for replacement chambers - but...

Adam,
I don't have one and the one I did have was gas and not diesel... On my gas version, there was a black plastic "bottle" down low on the passenger side of the truck. It was for fuel vapor control (sorry, I can't remember the real name for it). It had a pair of hoses that ran to the...
.
Well @Mainsail , that time was well spent for sure. It isn't cool or sexy, but drippy fuel hoses these days could cost you dollars on every trip with $10.00 fuel. Not to mention the possibility of a fire...

.
I have wondered if a pickup truck design - with space in the bed of the truck - would be a way to carry your charger with you... You know, BYOC (Bring Your Own Charger). I know nothing and have no real desire to own one - but could an EV move while being charged?
.
The cable is the easy way. It will be as big around as a grade school pencil or a little larger - and you will want to install it in a large sweeping arc. No sharp turns If you can expect it to work well. It needs to be secured well so it still functions correctly the tenth time (for...

Interesting. I too am interested to see what folks have to say. When I found the Huck Bolt tool - and the manual labor expended - I decided that a grinding wheel was my solution. The only nut splitter I found was a two step process because the Huck bolts are too "tall" to cut in one "split".
.
Just guessing here, but the old trucks that I once worked on that had electrical - not electronics - were welded on without a thought about disconnecting the battery cables.
In todays vehicles, it would seem possible for a poorly connected welding ground to "Zap" an electronic TCM or...
